You agree that by installing and using the Inferknow Green browser extension, You authorize Us to replace the ads that appear on the webpages you visit with other content, including other ads. Inferknow agrees that it will administer relations with advertisers on your behalf and use ad revenues it collects to purchase carbon credits to offset your computer's entire carbon footprint.
You agree to allow Us to record Your click trail. You agree to allow Us to utilize Your click trail information pursuant to our privacy policy, for the purpose of customizing the set of ads we show you on the webpages you visit.
If You install and use the Inferknow Green web browser extension, Inferknow Green will offset Your computer's carbon footprint based on a calculation of an average desktop computer's carbon emissions. Your computer's actual carbon footprint will almost certainly be smaller than the offsets We provide, however in some rare cases it may be larger. Any excess offsets We provide may be counted against Your other carbon emissions (for example from your car), however we do not claim or guarantee to offset your other carbon emissions. You further understand that Inferknow only purchases Verified Emissions Reductions (VERs) or Certified Emissions Reductions (CERs) to offset your computer's carbon footprint, and we purchase them quarterly in January, April, July, and October.
You understand that the Green client software you are installing automatically updates its operating data on a periodic basis. It does this to insure you the very best user experience possible. The updating feature retrieves only Green-related data updates from an Inferknow data server, including:
The Green software client employs standard web technologies to retrieve these data, including HTTP. These standard technologies may be vulnerable to malicious attack. For example, a hacker could launch a denial-of-service attack against our data server, which could prevent the Green client from retrieving data updates in a timely manner. Or, a hacker could spoof our data server, in which case the Green client could download erroneous and/or malicious data to your computer. You understand and agree that we are not liable for any damages caused if our updating feature is disrupted or otherwise broken by a malicious attack.

All source code in Inferknow software products and services is owned by Inferknow, which owns all copyrights in such software products and services, and all rights are reserved. No duplication or modification is allowed under any circumenstances. All content on Inferknow web properties, including Inferknow.com, are owned by Inferknow, which owns all copyrights in such content, and all rights are reserved. Short passages may be excerpted for the purpose of promotion of Inferknow products and services, but otherwise anyone wishing to use content from an Inferknow web property should link to the original content on the Inferknow web property.

You represent that no contract or other agreement exists between You and the websites You visit that would prevent You from using the software tools we provide to replace those websites' ads when You visit them, and You hereby indemnify Us from any liability for replacing the ads those websites intended to serve to You. You also represent that no contract or other agreement exists between You and any advertiser, advertiser representative or other party that would prevent You from using the software tools we provide to replace that advertiser's ads or the ads of that advertiser representative's clients, and You hereby indemnify Us from any liability for replacing those ads.
While we will contractually prohibit advertisers from serving offensive advertisements, We cannot be held liable for the content of the advertisements served to your browser by such third parties. Your business dealings or correspondence with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers and any terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertisers. We are not responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such non-Company advertisers on the websites you visit.
You cannot run a software program that automatically browses webpages with the Inferknow client installed in the browser. If we are made aware of such activity, we will terminate Your account and we will not purchase carbon credits for any outstanding offsets you have accrued. If we have already purchased carbon credits due to such activity, we will reassign those credits to other accounts.
You cannot install and run the Inferknow Green web browser extension as part of a scheme to artificially increase click-through rates on ads. You cannot hire and/or compensate other people for the purpose of installing and running Inferknow Green on your behalf. If we are made aware of such activity, we will terminate all accounts involved in the activity, and we will not purchase carbon credits for any outstanding offsets you have accrued. If we have already purchased carbon credits due to such activity, we will reassign those credits to other accounts.
Please do not try to access or attempt to access Our Services through robots or automated agents. If we are made aware of such activity, we will terminate Your account.
There is no copying allowed. You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code from Inferknow products and services.
THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. INFERKNOW DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. INFERKNOW DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT PRODUCTS OR SERVICES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, CURRENT OR ERROR-FREE. INFERKNOW DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
If you decide to download and/or or use Inferknow products or services, then you do so at your own discretion and risk. We make commercially reasonable efforts to make certain that our software is compatible with many systems, but we don't guarantee it. That means you are solely responsible for any damages to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download or use of Inferknow software or the Inferknow products or services.
Inferknow reserves the right to change or discontinue any and all content contained on the Site and any products or services at any time without notice.
These Terms are an agreement between you and Inferknow. Accordingly, it is governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, as with contracts made solely within Washington, and without giving effect to principles of conflict of laws. By registering, downloading, and/or using the Inferknow services, You agree to submit to jurisdiction in Washington and further agree that any cause of action arising under this Agreement may be brought only in state or federal courts in King county, Washington.
