An environmental president
November 4th, 2008The United States just elected a new president! We here at Inferknow are very excited, not least because we expect President-elect Obama will be good for the Earth. Obama recognizes the need for fundamental change when it comes to our country’s energy infrastructure.
We look forward to a pragmatic energy policy that includes realistic goals for renewables, and clear steps toward freeing ourselves from the need to fight an oil war every 10 years.
As if to punctuate this historic occasion, the Green community officially offset 2 metric tons of CO2 tonight, right around the time the television networks declared Barack Obama the winner.
